Music contest: MUSIC IS GREAT 2018
1. Participants:
- Unprofessional individuals / groups in Vietnam but not limited in genders, nationalities, religions, ages, regions; who are interested in British music and culture.
- The competition is open to participants who currently involved in other music competitions, or obtaining a professional education. This contest is for non-professional only!
2. Time and date:
- Submitting, uploading videos and voting: 8pm, 10/9/2018 – Midnight, 27/9/2018
- The panel decision and vote calculating: 28/9/2018
- TOP 10 announcement: 29/9/2018
- TOP 10 performance and winner announcement: 5/10/2018
3. Rules:
a. Genre:
- The contest is open for all types of music and musical instruments. All songs performed must be from the UK
b. How to submit videos
- Record your performance, your phone is fine.
- Directly upload videos to Music Is GREAT Event page (share the URL if you post it on Youtube)
NOTE: Make sure the sound quality is good enough so we can hear your GREAT performance
The Embassy will check the clips before uploading, based on our criteria:
• Music & Melody
• Vocal performance
• Arrangement
• Potential
Voting will be open from 10/9/2018 to Midnight 27/9/2018. TOP 10 best performers will be selected by the number of votes they receive and the panel. TOP 10 will perform at the InspireMe Festival, in a lot of people. The final 3 and the winner will be decided at the festival.
4. Prizes
The winner will win an opportunity to perform at Queen’s Birthday Party and other GREAT prizes.
